MARKETING YOUR EVENT How you market your event makes all the difference in how many people discover and attend your show. Your marketing content should be striking, short, sharp and to the point. Bold images and copy that captures attention and evokes curiosity will help get more bums on seats. |
EVENT IMAGE
A picture tells a thousand words! People buy with their eyes. If your image is alluring, interesting, engaging and sparks interest, people are more likely to click on your event link and read about what you are offering.

- Please use a high quality event image and DO NOT use any text on your image - this is not your event poster.
- Please provide one square image suitable for Facebook and Instagram posts (1080 x 1080) so that nothing is cropped out.
- Please provide a clean portrait image for media purposes.

Keep it simple! Include show dates, times, venue, prices, the Whangārei Fringe logo and website for booking. Please courier these to ONEONESIX, 116a Bank Street, Whangārei and we are happy to put them around our venues and community spaces. Please let us know if you are sending them so we know to look out for them.
Creative Northland have offered to support Whangārei Fringe artists by printing a number of posters free of change, they only ask that the Creative Northland logo be included on your poster.
Creative Northland free poster printing per event
Posters can be collected from the Creative Northland office Monday to Wednesday between 9am and 3pm. The office is located in the Old Railway Station, next to the Men’s Shed on Railway Road. Follow Railway Road right to the end, Creative Northland are in the large building next to the railway tracks.
